The Prince Albert Hotel was extremely proud to have
won this award in 2003. It is a reflection on the hard
work that all the staff put in and an indication of
the high level of pride in the venue we have. We are
sure that this level has not changed but improved. The
bar and bistro are well used by the local community
and the bar has the feel of “everybody knows your
name”.
Clean crisp lines are the first thing that takes your
eye on arrival at The Prince Albert, but it’s
not without the warmth of timber. A slick jarrah topped
bar clad with copper encompasses an impressive back
bar display which changes monthly with only quality
brands or exhibits on display.
The staff are well presented and only too willing
to help with the decision of where to start. Neat black
embroided collared shirts identify the staff. The Prince
Albert prides itself on customer service because without
the customers, where would we be? The team is frequently
updating their skills by undertaking the diageo perfect
serve initiative and/or wine tasting.
The efficient use of drink coasters enables the impressive
jarrah bar top to be seen in all of its glory. The bar
runners were banished from the bar after some feedback
from customers and some consultation with Kitsun Cheong
(diageo perfect serve and sales representative) the
result being a cleaner more attractive bar.
Quality draught beer is an integral part of the service
at the Prince Albert Hotel, not to say that packaged
beers get less attention. A water chilled beer system
supplies ice cold beer to twelve taps which range from
local to imported.
The emphasis at The Prince Albert is on prompt, polite
friendly service without the attitude because our strength
is hospitality. Our large group of loyal regular customers
is testament to the service level, friendly atmosphere
and quality beverages served.
The Prince Albert hotel has gained popularity since
its relaunch in 2001 and continues to impress new and
old customers each day.
